Our multidisciplinary team of Paediatric Therapists work with qualified Climbing Instructors to deliver the Climbing Calm programme to children with Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
Each week children are introduced to a new evidence based strategy to support their wellbeing. Climbing instructors build in opportunities to practice the weekly strategy throughout the session- using the climbing wall as a tool to practice the strategy in a safe, controlled environment.

Climbing Calm is designed to make a lasting difference to children's lives. At the end of the programme, children leave with a toolbox of strategies to help them manage anxiety and develop friendships. The programme works with parents and teachers- talking through specific strategies children respond well to and how they can be supported to apply the strategies to every day life.
